Horne says Kentuckians need a change in the U.S. Senate and if he doesn't see a democrat that he can fully support in a race against Mitch McConnell, he'll run himself. Horne lost to John Yarmuth in the democratic primary for the 3rd District Congressional seat last year. But since then he's become a darling of anti-war groups. Horne is a retired colonel and outspoken critic of the war in Iraq. He's one of the founders of VoteVets.org, a group of military vets who oppose the escalation of U.S. troops in Iraq. Some of the same folks who started the DitchMitchKy website have launched a DraftHorne.org website.
